Working on the development priorities 1-4 (see below) and with respect to the configuration options demanded by the community, I did more and more small fixes and reached step by step the point, where I felt it necessary to refactor the script, especially to manage the changes made between Vintage Story versions 1.4.9 to 1.5.1. So in January 2018 he asked me if I could help and fix the script. This server script was neither designed as a fully production ready hosting solution nor as a fully fledged admin interface, but it had the following (limited) features to manage the most common tasks: His idea was to provide a shell script for setting up a Vintage Story Multiplayer server on a Linux based host via terminal commands, especially mentioned as a quick start for users that are not familiar with creating their own scripts. Tyron created an initial server script to be shipped with Vintage Story (heavily adapted from minecraft tutorials). This repository contains admin scripts for Vintage Story (please take a look at the homepage if you want to learn more about Vintage Story) to be executed in a terminal or to be integrated in automated tasks of the server host OS.
